Meet the Board

  • Peter Wynnik - Born in Montreal,PQ moved to the North Country in 1993. Left the North Country in 1998-returned in 1999. Currently manages the Design and Engineering Department at Steele Truss Company, Inc. in Plattsburgh, NY. Member of: ADK YP, CFSC, and the WTCA/SBCA.
  • Chris Huchro - Partner at West Bay Finanical Group, LLC entered the financial Services industry in 1998. He is a member and Past President of the Adirondack Insurance and Financial Professionals organization, has served as a board member and President of the Champlain Children's Learning Center, Inc. has organized a fundraising event named Santa Night in Plattsburgh since 2002. Chris is a graduate of the North Country Leadership program. Born and raised in the North Country, Chris graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1995 and currently resides in Chazy, NY with his wife Eve and three children Aidan, Gabriel and Abigail.
  • Tim McCormick graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh December of 2005 where he received a B.S. in accounting and business, as well as a dual minor in economics and business analysis. Tim McCormick is the Treasurer for the Cumberland Bay Community Boating Center,  President for the Adirondack Young Professionals and the Vice-President for the Town of Plattsburgh’s Local Development Corporation.. Tim McCormick works at McCormick and Deon providing tax and accounting assistance to individuals, businesses, not for profits, and governmental entities. Tim also provides audits through TGACK CPA based out of Annapolis Maryland. Tim returned to the area after spending three years living and working in the Annapolis/DC Metro area to work in the family business. When Tim is not working he enjoys golfing and sailing and is always eager to get others into the sports he loves.
  • Keri Mack is the Regional Director of Start! Heart Walk and Go Red for Women for the American Heart Association in the North Country region. Keri is a graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh with a BA in English Literature. She was previously employed as the Director of Business Services for the North Country Workforce Investment Board. She has also worked as the Annual Giving and Special Events Manager for the Foundation of CVPH Medical Center, the Corporate Marketing Manager at Mountain Lake PBS, and as a Sales Representative for the Press Republican. In addition to being a founding member and President of the ADK YP Board, Keri serves as a Board Member of Behavioral Services North, and is a Member at Large of the Adirondack Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Keri is a Clinton Country Native, and resides in the City of Plattsburgh. She has three children Nicholas, Zoe & Ava. She is an avid reader, enjoys creative writing, and the outdoors
  • Nikki Wright - Raised in Saranac Lake, NY, I attended college at the State University of New York College at Potsdam where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a Minor in Business Economics. From there, I completed a Master's of Business Administration degree with a focus on New Venture and Innovation from Clarkson University in 2007. Currently employed as the Director of Lending Services, I have been with Adirondack Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) since September 2008. In December 2009 I received certification as an Economic Development Finance Professional through the National Development Council program. In addition to sitting on the ADK YP Board, I am also a member of the Saranac Lake Rotary Club board, the Lake Placid Gold Medal Referrals Chapter of the Business Networking International organization and a founding member of the SUNY Potsdam Department of Business Administration Advisory Council. Always remaining active, I participate on a local softball team during the summer, hike the many high peaks during the fall and ski during the winter!
  • Joshua Kretser is a designer and owner of pod studio in Plattsburgh, NY where he specializes in interior design, event planning, home staging and residential and commercial organization projects (www.podstudiony.com).
    He is a native of Plattsburgh and has returned after spending ten years studying interior design at the Fashion Institute of Technology and working in the design field in New York City.  Joshua is an active member of the Plattsburgh Rotary Club and will join the organization's board of Directors in July 2011.  He also serves on the art advisory board for the Plattsburgh International Airport, board of directors for Norte Maar for Collaborative Projects in the Arts (www.nortemaar.org) and on the special events committee for The Foundation at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
     He participates in The Development Corporation and the Institute for Development and Economic Analysis Vision 2040 community planning forum and serves as the co-chair for the events committee for the ADK YP.  Kretser enjoys meatloaf sandwiches and painting with watercolors.
  • Amy L. Keith is a nearly lifelong resident of the Adirondacks.  After graduating from SUNY Plattsburgh with a B.S. in Accounting & Business Administration, Amy accepted a Staff Accounting position at Boushie & Associates, CPA's in Saranac Lake where she has used her retail & management experience to aid her business clients in their accounting and tax endeavors.  Boushie & Associates, CPA's offers bookkeeping, tax planning & preparation, payroll, and sales tax services, among others.  In her free time, Amy serves as the Assistant Director for the Northeastern NY chapters of BNI (Business Network International) and enjoys playing softball, riding her motorcycle, traveling, and reading biographies.  She is also currently the Treasurer of ADKYP.
  • Steven Geddes joined ADKYP in the spring of 2011. Steven graduated from Plattsburgh State in 2003 with a degree in Political Science and in 2007 with a Masters in Administration and Leadership. He is currently the manager of Human Resources at Northern Insuring Agency. A native of the North Country, Steven enjoys spending time with is family in and around Lake Champlain and hiking and skiing in the Adirondacks.
